ECCJ attended “Copenhagen Global Workshop to Accelerate Energy Efficiency: Challenges, Opportunities and Roadmaps” organized by C2E2 held in Copenhagen on 10-14 Nov. 2015

Based upon the request by C2E2, as workshop advisor, Senior Advisor, Mr.Ushio and General Manager, Mr. Tanaka of ECCJ introduced the feature of Energy Conservation Policy in Japan’s industry sectors, the activities achieved on international energy conservation cooperation for developing countries and reported the result of the Se4all forum held in Tokyo, also  participated in the breakout sessions and gave advice as lecturer.

Further, carried out the policy search as Energy Efficiency Facilitating Hub, meeting concerning cooperation method between the Hubs, hearing of the specific content of support required by the countries in need and interaction with the participants from C2E2, WB, ADB.

Many of the countries participated in the workshop were related to the SE4All, which are Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa and Central America with 3 countries from 4 regions (A total of 12 countries).

Lecturers were comprised of WB, ADB and IEA including UN related organizations (UNIDO,UNEP and others) and those related to COP21 that environment was suitable for information exchange and exploring the cooperation method.
